SARODJINY CARLWIG, CEO/CO-FOUNDER
Sarodjiny's passion for film started when she was six years old and watched her first movie; "E.T." by Steven Spielberg. She completely submerged herself in the story and talked about it for months and all she wanted to do since then was to "produce movies".
Sarodjiny worked in the movie industry during her summer breaks. She worked as an assistant for a talent agency, as an assistant for a casting agency, as a production assistant on set and on all the facets of productions to learn about the movie business.
After graduating from law school, she worked in the legal department of New Line Cinema. She worked on major productions such as the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY (Dir: Peter Jackson, starring Viggo Mortensen, Cate Blanchett) and THE NOTEBOOK (Dir: Nick Cassavetes, starring Rachel MacAdams, Ryan Gosling) and many more.
She found her true calling, however, in the development and production department. She became a production coordinator for such feature films as LUCKY YOU (Dir: Curtis Hanson, starring Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana), DOMINO (Dir: Tony Scott, starring Keira Knightley), THREE DAYS TO VEGAS (Dir: Charlie Picerni), VEGAS BABY (Dir: Eric Bernt).
In 2006 she worked as an associate producer on the reality TV show Bridezillas and Gold Diggers. The same year she also founded Life Lines Productions in Los Angeles, where she has developed and co-produced independent projects and short films. Life Lines Production was represented at the Screenwriting expo 2007 for the Gold pitch tournament.
Sarodjiny is now establishing Globetrotter Productions in Dubai, where she will produce feature films in association with several leading Hollywood studios and production companies.
Sarodjiny has a Law Degree in International Business and a Master of Arts in Film and Television.
Sarodjiny is fluent in English, French and Spanish and has working knowledge of German and Italian.
